FOLDING CARD TABLE $3500.00 Sold This table was a commission from a couple who wanted a folding table that could be opened up for playing bridge. When not in use, the table appears to be a console table, complete with drawer. When opened, the back legs swing out on hinges and are locked in place with a brace to keep them secure. Then the top is flipped over to provide the playing surface. The removable center leg provides additional support and relief from the stresses placed on the hinges. The veneer on each side of the top is the same. It was quite a challenge to build, but a very worthwhile and satisfying project. |
